The Guest House is located in the village of Whiting Bay only a wonderfully scenic 15 minute drive (8 miles) from Brodick.

Arran is known as Scotland in miniature due to its striking variety of landscapes with granite peaks, sweeping moorland, wooded glens, sandy beaches, waterfalls and wide open seascapes. It combines the feeling of remoteness with easy accessibility to central Scotland.

The island can be reached by either a ferry from Ardrossan or Claonaig. Both Ferries can transport cars and passengers. Ardrossan has good rail connections to Glasgow making it ideally situated for three of the main Scottish airports (Edinburgh, Glasgow and Glasgow Prestwick). Claonaig, on the other hand, is on the Kintyre peninsula an ideal for people visiting Scotland`s West Coast and islands. For visitors with a car, the islands circular road takes you all round the island. For visitors without their own transport, bus services to all parts of the island connect with ferries arriving at Brodick and more limited connections can be made at Lochranza. You can hire a car locally from Arran Transport just at the pier in Brodick. Our Island is also well suited for cyclists.
